Life update: 
We now have kids....2yr old and 5 yr old. Lilsie and Charlotte are in da house. We also moved...and good ol' Chico is now in heaven. Wow time flies.

Project Updates...
- Jack did a solo album a while back with 'The Battle of Ontario'. Good times...raw.
- Shannon just finished a solo album called 'Jackrabbit'. Soul.

TODOs:
- Veg garden..
- Flatten yard more and seed to prepare for larger 'sports/running around' area: skating rink, soccer field...
- Tear down shed and build an insulated double garage....for studio.

great groove on that #3...soulfoul....reminds me a little of 'PewkaB'....seriously JJ...diggin' that groove? JJ...digging #4..that's exactly what you were talking about last night....super loud guitar...but really in background...nice guitar work...on this...underneath sounds live...

holy shit...this is insanity at the end of #4...literally...insane/sad background music over syruppy happy melody/delivery = genius......the listener can't help but to feel torn/discomfort/disconnected...then at real ends...mellows out again...with a neat smooth bookmark endinnn.

CMT....love/hate

So...played a little bit of hockey...checked out some dudes rehearsing...

Now i'm at home watching CMT. Just saw grand ol' opry with Emmy Lou Harris with Elvis Costello, Gillian Welch and David Rawlings. I mean.. a bunch of super cool cats together....very tasteful and laid back.

then...there's absolute shite after....

oh well.....i remember Emmy Lou once said that a little sugar's all right...but not too much...she would represent the non sugar...

New people...new recordings...

Hey all,

Gonna start working on a couple of new recordings for other artists. I will keep you posted with process. I'm gonna be working on a really solid set of songs with a local alt-country type of thing....+ gonna be working on a chunky and heavy set of really solid tunes with another local cat .....this dude will have some killer stuff.....lookin' forward to it!

I'm predicting really solid and powerful tunes all around. I'm working with all these cats because i truly believe in both their songs...not alot of fluff here.....straight to the point shit...

Well folks,

The Ferrabees came over on the weekend...did some recording. This is a seriously talented family. This is the second year they come over to my place/studio to do an Xmas album....total blast....total pros. Great performances of traditional Irish tunes.
